Training & Workforce Development

Course 1 Cohort Opening October 2026. Stay tuned for registration!

We train individuals with innate healing capabilities to provide mental health care support to providers and patients through a specialized training program.

By expanding the definition of who can provide emotional support, we’re creating more accessible, representative healthcare experiences.

Cultivating Dignity Within

This foundational program explores the principles of dignity in healthcare and empowers participants to recognize and nurture their own healing capabilities. Through interactive experiences and reflective practices, participants develop the core skills needed to support emotional wellbeing.

Dignity With Others

This course prepares participants to support others with dignity through developing personal mastery in emotional regulation and boundary-setting, acquiring evidence-based behavioral health support skills, fostering integrated team collaboration, and building capacity in crisis management—all while honoring the inherent worth of each individual.

Customized Training

Focuses on partnering with clinics and organizations to integrate behavioral health. DHC implements the Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) model and provides technical assistance and temporary workforce support to clinics. DHC creates direct employment opportunities for program graduates and supports the transition to permanent clinic-based positions.

Become a Facilitator

After graduating from both our course trainings, learners are encouraged to apply to facilitate our Course 1 Cultivating Dignity Within training for more of their community members. Each training is facilitated by one lincensed Behavorial Health Professional and one nonlincensed community member. Facilitators due recieve a stipend for their time. Facilitator training is required.

Learn With Us

We keep groups small allowing 9-12 members per cohort. This ensures our learners are being heard, able to voice their lived experience and connect with their cohort members on a deeper level.
